Back by popular demand, we are hosting our 2nd event - Software Startup Mixer, Part #2.

As noted, around 80 people showed up back in February for our first event which was an informal gathering of software startup types enjoying good conversation and pizza.

Due to the expected increased turnout, I have turned to our friends at Bronto Software (just a few doors down) to host this gig in their space.  (Thanks Joe, Chaz, Caroline and team.)  We will provide pizza, salad and soda again.

We will change up the format a little in order to keep this fresh and valuable to all (based on the survey i sent out):

* We have asked Merrill Mason (one of the Triangles most experienced software startup lawyers and a great supporter of the entreprenurial community) to come and speak for 15 minutes on the high-level do's and don'ts of setting up your companies legal documents.  Merrill will speak from the heart and head and not from PowerPoint.

* We will enjoy the same informal networking time (the majority of the mixer agenda).  However, . . . .

* Each name tag will have an indication if you are looking to meet and talk to a potential co-founder.   This is our way of brokering a light-weight founder speed-dating connection.  Just look at the name tag and start chatting. If you are more of a sales person who needs a technically-oriented partner or a technical guy who needs someone who has more of a business track record you can target your conversations appropriately.  (Please indicate your status in the registration process.)  Thanks.
